Star Cineplex, the country’s renowned and popular multiplex chain, turning 21 on October 8, and movie lovers are in for a treat. The popular multiplex is celebrating the milestone with a special offer that will make fans rush to the theaters.
To mark the anniversary, all branches of Star Cineplex will run a special deal on October 8. Anyone buying a ticket for any movie at any showtime will get a second ticket free.
Mesbah Uddin Ahmed, AGM of media and marketing at Star Cineplex, said entertainment journalists have been with them every step of the way. He added that the support from both viewers, and the press has helped the cinema reach this milestone.
Started in 2004, Star Cineplex was the country’s first multiplex. Today it runs 22 halls across Dhaka and other cities, with more locations under construction. The management says the number of halls will grow further by next year.
