Star Cineplex will host the week-long Summer Bangla Hit Fest from June 19 to 25 across all its branches, bringing four recent Bangladeshi films back to the big screen for local audiences.
The special festival will feature screenings of ‘Borbaad’, ‘Taandob’, ‘Utshob’ and ‘Bonolota Express’. Advance tickets will be available through Star Cineplex counters and its official website.
Directed by Mehedi Hasan Hridoy, ‘Borbaad’ stars Shakib Khan and Idhika Paul. Meanwhile, ‘Taandob’, directed by Raihan Rafi, features an ensemble cast including Shakib Khan, Jaya Ahsan, Afran Nisho, Sabila Nur and Siam Ahmed.
The festival will also showcase ‘Utshob’ and ‘Bonolota Express’, both of which have received strong audience responses. Directed by Tanim Noor, ‘Utshob’ stars Zahid Hasan, Chanchal Chowdhury, Jaya Ahsan, Aupee Karim, Afsana Mimi, Tariq Anam Khan, Azad Abul Kalam, Intekhab Dinar, Sunerah Binte Kamal, Shoumya Joyti and Sadia Ayman.
Based on the novel ‘Kichukhon’ by Humayun Ahmed, ‘Bonolota Express’ features performances from Chanchal Chowdhury, Mosharraf Karim, Shariful Raj, Zakia Bari Mamo, Azmeri Haque Badhon and Sabila Nur.
