A total of 1,857,344 candidates across the country are set to receive their Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examination results on 10 August.
Students will be able to access their results via mobile SMS as well as from the official websites of their respective education boards.
In an official press release issued on Thursday, Abdullah Shibli Sadiq, senior information officer of Education Ministry, confirmed the date of publication.
This year’s examinations, conducted under the country’s 11 education boards, commenced on 21 April and concluded on 20 May.
A total of 30,666 educational institutions participated in the exams across 3,885 centres nationwide. The examinees comprise 930,305 male students and 927,039 female students.
According to the board-wise breakdown, 1,418,318 candidates sat for the exams under General Education Boards. Madrasah Education Board (Dakhil) saw 303,286 examinees, and Technical Education Board registered 134,660 candidates.

To check results online, students can visit the official website of their respective education boards. Alternatively, they can access two official government portals:

How to get results via SMS
For mobile SMS, candidates must send a text message in the following formats to the number 16140:
- General Board: SSC <space> BOARD <space> ROLL <space> YEAR (e.g. SSC BOARD ROLL YEAR)
- Madrasah Board: SSC <space> MAD <space> ROLL <space> YEAR
- Technical Board: SSC <space> TEC <space> ROLL <space> YEAR
A charge of Tk1.39 paisa (inclusive of all taxes) will be applicable for each SMS sent.
