Southeast University (SEU) and The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on August 27, 2025, at the FBCCI Office in Motijheel, Dhaka. Dr. Bikarna Kumar Ghosh, CEO of the FBCCI Innovation and Research Center, and Prof. Dr. Yusuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor of SEU, signed the agreement on behalf of their institutions.
The MoU aims to foster entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic development while promoting academic and professional collaboration through advanced research. The agreement will enhance educational and career opportunities for SEU students by directly engaging with national business and economic policy issues.
The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials from both organizations. Representing Southeast University were Dr. Farhana Ferdousi, Director of the BBA Program; Ruba Rummana, Associate Professor in the Department of Economics; Md. Abul Hashem Rony, Deputy Director of BCPR; and Syeda Khadiza Akter, Lecturer in the BBA Program.
