Sonali Bank PLC has signed an agreement with the Directorate of Primary Education to collect teaching permit, registration and renewal fees from non-government primary schools through the Sonali Payment Gateway.
The agreement was signed on Wednesday at the Director General conference room of the Directorate of Primary Education, according to a press release.
Sonali Bank Managing Director and CEO Md Shawkat Ali Khan and Directorate of Primary Education Director General Abu Noor Md Shamsuzzaman signed and exchanged the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
The arrangement will enable digital collection of fees through the bank’s payment platform, streamlining transactions for non-government primary schools.
Among others present were Sonali Bank Deputy Managing Director Md Rafiqul Islam and General Manager Aklima Islam, as well as Directorate of Primary Education Additional Director General Mohammad Atiqur Rahaman and Director Mirza Md Hasan Khasru, along with other officials.
