Singer Bangladesh Limited, a subsidiary of Beko, the flagship of Türkiye’s Koç Holding, has posted steady top-line growth in the first quarter of 2026, reflecting confidence in its long-term transformation strategy.
The company reported revenue of Tk580 crore for Q1 2026, marking a 3.4 per cent increase from Tk560 crore in the same period last year. Despite a challenging operating environment, which included geopolitical uncertainties, a temporary sales slowdown due to the National Election, and extended Eid holidays, the company achieved growth in its core business.
Singer Bangladesh maintained stable gross and operating performance, underscoring the strength of its fundamental operations. However, increased financial costs led to a net loss of Tk55.9 crore during the quarter. Key financial metrics, including Earnings Per Share (EPS), Net Asset Value (NAV), and Net Operating Cash Flow Per Share (NOCFPS), showed short-term pressure due to these elevated costs.
The company noted that these results should be considered in light of its ongoing strategic investments. With the establishment of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at the Bangladesh Special Economic Zone (BSEZ), an expansion of in-house air conditioner production, and the growth of its export capabilities, Singer Bangladesh is laying the groundwork for long-term, sustainable growth.
Looking ahead, Singer Bangladesh remains focused on leveraging market opportunities through product innovation, improved retail experiences, and stronger customer engagement. With its dual-brand strategy and continued investments in local manufacturing, the company is optimistic about overcoming near-term challenges and delivering long-term value.
