Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan visited actor Aamir Khan’s Mumbai home to congratulate him after his wedding with Gauri Spratt.
Aamir and Gauri got married in a private ceremony on July 5. Shah Rukh did not attend the wedding, but he later met the couple to share his wishes.
According to images and videos shared by Indian media, Shah Rukh arrived at Aamir’s residence wearing a navy blue shirt, jeans and sunglasses. Aamir stepped outside to welcome his longtime friend.
The two actors shared a warm reunion. Aamir greeted Shah Rukh with a smile, and the pair hugged each other. Shah Rukh also kissed Aamir while congratulating him. The moment soon attracted attention on social media.
Aamir’s children, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan, were also present during the visit. Shah Rukh hugged them as well. Ira’s husband also attended the gathering. Later, Shah Rukh posed for photographs with Aamir and his family members.
Aamir introduced Gauri Spratt publicly on his 60th birthday last year. He had said they maintained a long-distance relationship for nearly a year before making it public. The couple decided to marry within a year of announcing their relationship.
The couple held their wedding at Aamir’s Mumbai residence under the Special Marriage Act. Around 100 to 150 close relatives and friends attended the ceremony. The guest list included members of the Ambani family, filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker, Rajkumar Hirani and several other Bollywood personalities.
This is Aamir Khan’s third marriage. He was previously married to Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao. He has children Junaid and Ira from his first marriage, and son Azad from his second marriage.
Gauri Spratt also has a son from her previous marriage. The presence of children from both families added a special touch to the couple’s new journey.
