Heidi Klum’s gruesome severed-hand Halloween costume has sparked speculation about the villains in Robert Pattinson’s upcoming film ‘The Batman Part II’, after fans spotted possible clues in a behind-the-scenes video showing how the costume was made.

According to Yahoo Entertainment, the supermodel’s costume featured a giant severed hand complete with replicas of her wedding rings. However, an Instagram post documenting its creation drew attention to objects in the workspace of special effects makeup artist Mike Marino, who worked on the 2022 film ‘The Batman’ and its HBO spin-off ‘The Penguin’.

Among the items spotted was a facial cast that some fans believed resembled actor Brian Tyree Henry with a disfigured lip, prompting speculation that he could play Harvey Dent, also known as Two-Face. In DC Comics, Dent is Gotham City’s former district attorney whose face is disfigured following an attack.

Fans also noticed a box labelled “Zsasz”, referring to Victor Zsasz, a serial killer in the Batman comics known for carving tally marks into his skin for each victim he kills. The discovery renewed speculation about Sebastian Stan’s possible role in the sequel.

Entertainment journalist Jeff Sneider reported in June that Stan would play Zsasz, while Henry would portray Two-Face. However, neither casting claim has been officially confirmed. ‘Variety’ has separately reported that Stan is set to play Harvey Dent.

Another box labelled “Owl 3” led fans to speculate about the Court of Owls, a secret society that secretly influences Gotham City in DC Comics.

Marino’s involvement in the sequel was confirmed in an October interview with ‘W’ magazine, in which he described working on the film as a dream opportunity for a comic book enthusiast. He also hinted at the use of striking makeup in the upcoming production.

Director Matt Reeves confirmed Henry and Stan’s involvement in the film in May but did not disclose their characters. Stan later described the project as something different from his previous work during an October appearance on the *Happy Sad Confused* podcast.

However, the objects seen in Marino’s workspace have not been confirmed as clues to the film, and there is no evidence that they were deliberately included in Klum’s Halloween post to reveal details about the sequel.

‘The Batman Part II’ is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on 18 February 2028. The film was originally slated for October 2025 before being delayed.
