Dhallywood actress Shah Humayra Subah has performed Umrah with her husband in Makkah, sharing the news with her followers on social media.
In a Facebook post, the actress sought prayers for the couple and expressed gratitude to Allah for the opportunity to perform the pilgrimage together.
“Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, my husband and I have completed Umrah together. From this holy place, I prayed for all my friends, relatives and followers. May Allah accept our Umrah and protect us from the evil eye,” she wrote.
Subah married a US-based expatriate around the middle of this year. Although she initially kept the marriage private, she later confirmed the news herself.
The actress made her big-screen debut with Rafique Shikder’s film Boshonto Bikel. She has also appeared in television dramas and music videos and released songs in her own voice.
Several of her completed films are currently awaiting release.
