The Southeast University Trust held its 140th board meeting on 12 November at the university’s Tejgaon campus, reviewing academic and administrative priorities and issuing new directives for institutional development.

Chaired by Rezaul Karim, the session brought together trustees and senior administrators to assess ongoing programmes and discuss policy adjustments. Board members reviewed the performance of existing academic offerings, considered infrastructure needs and examined proposed updates to university governance.

The trust directed the university to raise academic standards, strengthen research capacity and streamline operations.

It also called for deeper industry partnerships, greater use of emerging technologies and a focus on sustainable growth as part of the next phase of Southeast University’s strategy.
