Samsung has rolled out a series of immersive fan activations alongside global K-pop sensation BTS during the group’s ongoing Arirang World Tour, offering concertgoers a technology-driven experience in Las Vegas.
The electronics giant partnered with BTS under its ‘Samsung Galaxy x BTS World Tour Arirang’ initiative, which features six interactive activations designed to merge live music with next-generation mobile technology. The campaign is also aimed at highlighting the capabilities of Samsung’s latest flagship device, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.
At the Las Vegas stop, fans were invited to test the phone’s advanced 200MP camera by capturing BTS-themed backdrops, taking high-resolution mirror selfies and recreating stylized ‘crowd surfing’ concert moments. The experience also allowed attendees to experiment with the device’s front camera for self-recorded content and fan-driven storytelling.
A major highlight of the activation was Samsung’s AI-powered Interpreter feature, which enables real-time translation of speech and text. Fans used the tool to simulate direct messaging interactions with the group, underscoring the company’s push toward breaking language barriers in global fan engagement.
Samsung also showcased its broader suite of Galaxy AI tools, including Nightography, which automatically adjusts low-light photos and videos for concert environments, and Photo Assist, which allows users to enhance, retouch, or upscale images using AI processing. The company further highlighted Quick Share, its cross-platform file-sharing feature, which now works seamlessly with Apple’s AirDrop ecosystem.
According to Samsung, the BTS collaboration is designed to reimagine the traditional concert experience by making it more interactive and emotionally engaging. The company said the technology enables fans to capture and relive live performances in more immersive ways, turning concert moments into shareable digital experiences that extend beyond the venue.
This partnership marks another chapter in the ongoing collaboration between Samsung and BTS, who have previously fronted global campaigns for Galaxy earbuds and foldable devices, strengthening the brand’s foothold in youth-driven tech marketing.
The Samsung Galaxy x BTS World Tour experience first launched in Seoul in March, before expanding to its first US activation in Stanford, California earlier this month. Samsung has confirmed that the global campaign will continue across selected tour dates through 2027, signaling a long-term integration of entertainment and mobile innovation across its flagship product strategy.
