The government has raised retail prices of octane, petrol and kerosene by Tk5 per litre while keeping diesel unchanged, citing movements in the global fuel oil market.
Under the revised rates effective from Monday, octane will sell at Tk145 per litre, petrol at Tk140 and kerosene at Tk135.
Diesel will remain at Tk115 per litre.
The Energy and Mineral Resources Division announced the new prices in a notification.
The revised rates came into effect on Monday, June 1.
