SAJIDA Foundation held its 32nd annual general meeting (AGM) at a hotel in the capital on Saturday. The meeting was presided over by Farooq Sobhan, chairperson of its governing body.
Other members of the governing and general bodies, including Vice-Chairperson Md Abdul Karim, were also present. SAJIDA Foundation is a value-driven non-governmental organisation committed to the principle of corporate philanthropy.
Established in 1993, the foundation works to empower communities, promote entrepreneurship, build equity, and establish enterprises for good, with a vision of ensuring health, happiness, and dignity for all.
To date, SAJIDA’s multi-sectoral development programmes – focused on poverty alleviation, community healthcare, and climate change – have reached over six million people across Bangladesh.
