Ryans Computers Limited marked its 26th anniversary in January as the technology retailer said it would further expand digital services, customer support and nationwide accessibility in 2026.
Founded on January 2, 2000, Ryans has grown from a single outlet into a nationwide IT retail chain with 21 branches in 19 locations, alongside an online platform serving customers across all 64 districts.
The anniversary was observed on January 3 with a cake-cutting ceremony at the company’s head office, attended by members of management and representatives from the IT sector. Similar celebrations were held at Ryans outlets across the country, the company said.
Ryans said it currently serves more than one million customers, offering products ranging from desktops and laptops to gaming devices, smart products and accessories, supported by after-sales service, instalment facilities and customer support.
The company is expanding software-driven and paperless service systems to allow customers to access warranties, support services and documentation digitally. It also provides round-the-clock technical assistance through online channels and a call centre.
Ryans said it continues to strengthen corporate and institutional services through its corporate team, while Ryans Care Limited provides repair and maintenance support beyond purchase.
With operations across all eight divisions, the retailer said it aims to ensure consistent service nationwide while expanding partnerships with global technology brands.
Ryans has received several industry recognitions over the years, including the HP Best Consumer Partner Award for Southeast Asia and Korea in 2018 and the Intel Gold Award for South Asia in 2011, reflecting its long-standing presence in the local IT market.
