Royal Enfield marked one year of operations in Bangladesh on February 16 with the launch of the new Classic 350 and Meteor 350, signalling its continued expansion in the country’s mid-size motorcycle market.
The company, which positions itself as a global leader in the 250cc to 750cc segment, introduced a limited-run Classic 350 created exclusively for Bangladesh to commemorate the anniversary, according to a press release.
The special edition features colourways inspired by cities and landmarks — Dhaka Amber, Comilla Black, Rajshahi Red and Sundarban Green — reflecting local geography while retaining the Classic 350’s established design and styling.
Alongside the anniversary edition, Royal Enfield unveiled the Meteor 350, described as a modern cruiser combining relaxed ergonomics, refined performance and contemporary styling. In Bangladesh, the Meteor 350 will be available in four variants — Fireball, Stellar, Aurora and Supernova — offered in seven colour schemes.
Both models are powered by the company’s J-series 350cc engine, positioned as suitable for urban commuting and long-distance riding.
Royal Enfield said the new motorcycles will be produced at its local manufacturing facility, underscoring its focus on accessibility, quality and long-term growth in the Bangladeshi market.
IFAD Motors is the authorised distributor of Royal Enfield motorcycles in Bangladesh, supported by local manufacturing as well as sales and after-sales service networks.
IFAD Motors Vice Chairman Taskeen Ahmed said completing one year in Bangladesh marked a significant milestone and cited a strong response from riders and enthusiasts. He said the anniversary editions and expanded Meteor 350 line-up aim to celebrate the country’s growing riding culture while reinforcing the brand’s commitment to delivering motorcycling experiences.
The launch event in Dhaka was attended by IFAD Group Chairman, Vice Chairmen, Group Managing Director, invited guests from corporate houses and banks, members of the biking community and Royal Enfield riders.
