Rashmika Mandanna made her first public appearance since suffering a hip injury while shooting for her upcoming film Mysaa, as she attended producer Niranjan Reddy’s son’s engagement ceremony in Hyderabad with Vijay Deverakonda, reports Hindustan Times.
The two actors arrived together at the celebration and were seen holding hands as they entered the venue.
They opted for traditional yet elegant outfits for the occasion.
Rashmika looked graceful in a wine-and-bottle-green Anarkali-style ensemble from designer Sureena Chowdhri’s eponymous label.
The outfit featured intricate gold embroidery on the bodice, a plunging V-neckline and half-length sleeves.
The dual-toned velvet skirt flowed from the fitted waist, while a heavily embroidered gold border added to the look.
She paired the outfit with a deep-green velvet dupatta featuring golden patti embroidery, tassel detailing and delicate floral threadwork.
For accessories, Rashmika opted for a diamond choker and matching bracelet.
She kept her hair open with a centre parting and completed her look with a dewy base, glossy pink lips, feathered brows and mascara.
Vijay complemented her traditional look in an all-black bandhgala suit. He wore a tailored jacket with ornate buttons, matching tapered trousers, dress shoes and a pocket square.
He completed the look with swept-back hair and his signature handlebar moustache.
The appearance comes after Rashmika suffered a hip injury while filming Mysaa.
She had previously shared an update about her recovery on social media, assuring fans that she was getting better.
Rashmika and Vijay have been in the spotlight for their relationship for several years.
They first met while working on Geetha Govindam in 2017.
Dating rumours surrounding the pair intensified in 2023 after they were reportedly spotted vacationing together in the Maldives.
