The executive committee of the Rangpur Polytechnic Institute Alumni Association (RPIAA) held its meeting at the Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel in Dhaka. The gathering was organized under the title “RPIAA Roundtable.”
According to a press release, the main motto of the meeting was, “Every voice in this meeting is equally important.”
Engineer Md Tauhidur Rahman presided over the session. In his opening remarks, he stated, “RPIAA is not merely a reunion of former students; it is a powerful platform.
“Through this platform, we can contribute significantly to professional excellence, social responsibility, and national development. We must move forward by giving equal importance to everyone’s opinions.”
The discussions focused on strategies to further strengthen the organisation. Key proposals included introducing a mentorship programme for students, creating a scholarship fund, establishing strong ties with industrial bodies and government and non-government organisations, and expanding the alumni network internationally.
Leaders of the executive committee expressed gratitude to all participants and reaffirmed their commitment to transform the organisation into a vital force for national development while upholding the heritage and pride of Rangpur Polytechnic Institute.
The meeting concluded with a pledge of unity, collaboration, and equal participation for all members.
