Pubali Bank Securities, a key stakeholder of the Dhaka and Chattogram stock exchanges, is set to enhance its services by launching its own Order Management System (OMS). The company has signed an agreement with Quant Fintech Limited to adopt the first world-class OMS developed by Bangladeshi entrepreneurs. Pubali Bank Securities will become the 28th broker in the country to implement this advanced system.
The agreement was formalised on Thursday, September 12, at the head office of Pubali Bank Securities. The contract was signed by Ahsan Ullah Managing Director Pubali Bank Securities and Abdul Awal Chairman Quant Fintech.
Under the agreement, Pubali Bank Securities will provide its clients with an automated trading platform to facilitate transactions on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chattogram Stock Exchange (CSE). This will allow clients to engage in direct stock trading from anywhere in the world.
The signing ceremony was attended by Mohammad Javed Hossain Director and CEO Quant Fintech, Subhas Das AGM Pubali Bank Securities, Company Secretary Ganapati Kumar, SPO Mohammad Abul Kashem, Rokibul Hasan, and senior officials from both organizations.
Abdul Awal Chairman Quant Fintech expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating, “We have worked with many institutions, and all of them have been highly satisfied. We are especially excited to sign this agreement with Pubali Bank, which opens up new opportunities for both parties and sets an example of collaboration between a local OMS provider and one of Bangladesh’s leading banks.”
He further added, “We have partnered with 27 institutions, both domestic and foreign, and many of them have been successfully providing excellent services to their clients. As a local entrepreneur, we are proud of this achievement.”
Ahsan Ullah Managing Director Pubali Bank Securities expressed his satisfaction with adopting OMS from a domestic company, stating, “Despite being a local firm, Quant Fintech has already proven its success by serving many institutions. We hope they will win the hearts of all clients with their services, and eventually, everyone will turn to local providers.”
