Pubali Bank PLC has set up an electronic banking booth at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in Dhaka, expanding access to digital banking services within a major public healthcare facility.
The booth was inaugurated by Pubali Bank Managing Director and CEO Mohammad Ali and National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery Director Professor Mohammad Nasir Uddin.
Also present at the event were Professor Hasib Rahman and Professor Nasrin Sultana of the institute, along with Pubali Bank General Manager and RM for Dhaka South Region Md Rafiqul Islam and senior executives from both organisations.
The installation is aimed at providing modern, secure and faster banking services to hospital staff, patients and their families, enabling transactions such as cash withdrawal, deposits and other services on a 24-hour basis.
Pubali Bank Managing Director and CEO Mohammad Ali said technology-driven banking services are essential in the current environment and the bank is continuing to expand initiatives to deliver faster, secure and convenient services closer to customers.
He said the booth at the hospital will help users save time while ensuring safer and easier financial transactions.
National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery Director Professor Mohammad Nasir Uddin said the availability of banking services within the hospital premises will make financial transactions more efficient for patients and their relatives, supporting smoother access to medical services.
He expressed hope that the facility will ensure modern, secure and fast banking services for all users connected to the institute.
The move reflects the bank’s broader push to integrate digital banking infrastructure into high-demand public service locations.
