The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has published the final results of the 46th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination, recommending 1,457 candidates for various government cadre positions.
The commission released the results on Sunday evening around 6:45pm, confirmed SM Matiur Rahman, the PSC’s public relations officer.
The complete list of selected candidates is now available on the PSC’s official website: www.bpsc.gov.bd.
The oral examinations for candidates who provisionally passed the written test were conducted between 18 and 26 January. Prior to this, the written results were announced on 27 November last year, declaring 4,042 candidates successful.
The written test phase for the 46th BCS began with compulsory subject examinations held from 24 July to 3 August, followed by subject-specific papers from 10 to 21 August.
Originally, the written exams were scheduled to take place from 8 to 19 May, 2023, but was postponed after protests from candidates..
The PSC had issued the official notification for the 46th BCS on 30 November, 2023.
A total of 10,638 candidates qualified in the preliminary stage of the examination.
