An investigation report has been submitted against 22 individuals, including former foreign minister Hasan Mahmud, in a case over alleged crimes against humanity committed during the July Uprising.
The report was submitted to the Chief Prosecutor’s office of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) on Thursday, the prosecution said.
While the investigation concludes the inquiry into 22 persons, the names of all the accused have not yet been disclosed
International Crimes Tribunal Chief Prosecutor Md Aminul Islam confirmed the submission, saying investigators have named 22 individuals, including the former minister.
The report will be filed as formal charges after the prosecution completes necessary verification, he said.
