President Mohammed Shahabuddin has expressed profound sorrow and deep shock at the demise of BNP Chairperson and three-time prime minister Khaleda Zia.
In an official condolence message on Tuesday, he said, “The death of Khaleda Zia has caused irreparable loss to the nation.”
The president prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to her bereaved family members and countless followers.
He also urged the people to honour her memory and to offer prayers and supplications for her.
