Pori Moni and Nirab Hossain have renewed discussions about the future of the long-delayed film ‘Golap’, with plans underway to begin shooting after multiple postponements stalled the project.
The film, which has faced repeated delays and uncertainty since its announcement, has recently returned to the spotlight after the actress shared a photograph with Nirab on her Facebook account.
Sources associated with the production said the two actors held positive discussions regarding the future of the project. Nirab said efforts are being made to begin filming as quickly as possible following several postponements and that he remains in regular contact with Pori Moni about the film.
‘Golap’ is a thriller centred on the political realities of a small town. The story and screenplay have been written by Anik Biswas, while the film is being produced under the Storywala Productions banner and directed by Samchul Huda. Pori Moni and Nirab are set to play the lead roles.
Meanwhile, the release of Pori Moni’s new film ‘Dodor Golpo’ has also been postponed. Directed by Reza Ghatak, the film stars Symon Sadik opposite Pori Moni and is expected to be released in cinemas soon.
If plans progress as expected, ‘Golap’ will resume filming in the near future. Those involved with the project believe the film could also mark the beginning of a new on-screen chapter for the pairing of Pori Moni and Nirab.
