Present on the occasion were additional IGs along with other senior officials of Police Headquarters.
Kirill arrived in Bangladesh on 23 September to visit historical and scenic places. On 7 October, he arrived at Natore Railway Station and was waiting in the station waiting room to travel to India through the Darshana border.
During that time, he left his laptop and camera in the waiting room and went to a nearby ATM booth to withdraw money. Upon returning, he found his laptop and camera missing and sought assistance from Natore Police Station.
The lost laptop contained his work activities from the past six months alongside important documents.
Following his written application, combined teams comprising Natore Sadar Police Station, Natore District Police, Railway Police, and Tourist Police conducted operations to recover the missing items.
Through relentless efforts, police recovered the German tourist’s laptop (MacBook) at around 9:30pm on 11 October from ‘Nur Clothing Store’ in the Kapuriapatti area under Natore Sadar Police Station.
