Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will address the nation at 6:30pm Wednesday, in his first speech since taking office.
Bangladesh Television (BTV) will broadcast the address live, and other television channels have been requested to air it in the public interest.
Tarique took the oath as new prime minister of Bangladesh on Tuesday.
