Prime Minister Tarique Rahman returned to Dhaka on Friday following the conclusion of his state visit to China.
He arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 7:45pm Bangladesh time. He had departed from Beijing at 5:16pm local time via a China Southern Airlines flight. Accompanying him on the trip was his wife, Zubaida Rahman, as well as his entourage, all of whom returned on the same flight.
Upon his arrival at the airport, the prime minister was received by members of the Cabinet, advisors, lawmakers, and senior government officials. Senior BNP leaders were also present at the airport to welcome their party chief.
