Pakistan have reached Bangladesh for their upcoming two match Test series in the 2025 to 27 ICC World Test Championship cycle.

The first group of the squad arrived in Dhaka on Sunday morning. Some players are still in Pakistan due to the Pakistan Super League final and will join the team later.

Pakistan will face Bangladesh in two Tests during this tour. The Pakistan Cricket Board had already named a 16 member squad for the series.

Shan Masood will captain the side. Pakistan have picked a squad that combines senior stars with young talent.

Four players have received their first Test call up. They are Abdullah Fazal, Amad Butt, Azan Awais, and Muhammad Ghazi Ghori.

The first Test will begin on May 8 at Sher e Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.

The second Test will start on May 16 at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.

Pakistan will hope to make a strong start in the new World Test Championship cycle against Bangladesh away from home.

Shan Masood (captain), Abdullah Fazal, Amad Butt, Azan Awais, Babar Azam, Hasan Ali, Imam ul Haq, Khurram Shahzad, Mohammad Abbas, Mohammad Rizwan (wicketkeeper), Muhammad Ghazi Ghori (wicketkeeper), Noman Ali, Sajid Khan, Salman Ali Agha, Saud Shakeel, and Shaheen Shah Afridi.
