The Election Commission is unable to access the NID servers due to a glitch in the NID system.
The OTP required to login to the server is not being delivered since 12:30pm on Tuesday, resulting in NID services remaining inaccessible by staff.
This is due to an issue in the service provider’s system and activities will continue as per usual as soon as the issue is fixed. A fix for the issue is currently underway, according to Director General of the Election Commission’s National Identity Registration Division ASM Humayun Kabir.
