Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) will not add any new securities to its key indices DSEX and DSMEX for April 2026, as no company has gone public during the review period, the bourse said in a press release.
The DSE Bangladesh Broad Index (DSEX) and DSE SME Growth Index (DSMEX) remained unchanged as there was no debut trading of new securities on either the main board or the SME board during the period.
As a result, the existing constituents’ list of both indices will continue without any addition for April 2026, according to the statement.
Bangladesh’s stock market has been going through a transition phase following the August 2024 uprising and political changeover.
Several company applications were rejected during the period, while appetite for new listings dropped sharply.
