Popular small screen star Niloy Alamgir and his wife, fashion influencer Tasnuva Tabassum Hridi welcomed a baby girl on Thursday night, marking a joyous new chapter for the couple.
They have named their daughter Rooshda Maimanah. According to the family, both mother and child are in good health.
Niloy shared a photograph on his official Facebook page holding his newborn daughter shortly after her birth. In the post, he expressed gratitude and sought prayers from well-wishers as they embark on their journey as parents.
In a separate post, Tasnuva explained that the name was inspired by verses from Surah Kahf and Surah Waqiah. The name Rooshda signifies one who is guided or wise, while Maimanah denotes a person on the right path.
Niloy and Tasnuva married on July 7, 2021, after an acquaintance that began on Facebook and later received the blessings of both families.
Niloy is currently regarded as one of the leading actors in Bangladeshi television drama, while Tasnuva enjoys significant visibility on social media and frequently appears in brand campaigns.
