Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya gave fans a light-hearted glimpse into their married life after the actor shared a candid post about his wife’s cooking. According to NDTV, Chaitanya joked that Sobhita had cooked dinner for him for the first time nearly two years after their wedding.
On Friday night, the actor posted a photograph on Instagram showing Sobhita serving dinner at home. Dressed in casual loungewear, she stood beside a table holding two bowls, one appearing to contain noodles and the other rice with vegetables.
Sharing the picture, Chaitanya wrote, “Wifey cooks dinner for me close to 2 years after getting married… I possibly did something right today.”
Sobhita quickly joined the conversation in the comments with a playful response. “Are you trolling me or praising me,” she wrote, drawing amused reactions from fans.
The exchange was not the couple’s first public joke about cooking. During an interview with Vogue India in March 2025, they were asked who was the better cook. Chaitanya admitted that neither of them could really claim the title. When Sobhita pointed out that he made her hot chocolate every night, the Thandel actor jokingly replied that hot chocolate and coffee did not count as cooking. He added that those were simply “basic human skills” that she did not have.
After his divorce from Samantha Ruth Prabhu in 2021, Chaitanya began dating Sobhita. Rumours about their relationship surfaced in 2022 after photographs from a holiday circulated online. The couple kept their relationship private until announcing their engagement in 2024. They later married the same year at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad.
On the work front, Sobhita was last seen in the Telugu crime thriller Cheekatilo, which premiered on Prime Video earlier this year. She will next appear in the Tamil sci-fi drama Vettuvam. Chaitanya, meanwhile, is preparing for the release of his upcoming mythical action drama Vrushakarma, which is expected to arrive later this year.
