NCP has reaffirmed its commitment to pursuing reforms, justice, and anti-corruption initiatives, with party leaders warning that the government is returning to “old ways.”
Speaking at an iftar gathering and discussion meeting organised by the NCP’s Dhaka North unit at National Bangla High School field in Mirpur, NCP Convener and Opposition Chief Whip Nahid Islam said, “We stand for reforms, for justice, and against corruption. If the government continues on its current path, we will open new horizons. Everyone must stay prepared for the struggle to implement reforms.”
Nahis alleged that the government has taken a clear position against reform measures, asserting that the NCP’s fight for change would continue unabated.
The programme drew key party figures, including NCP Chief Coordinator Nasiruddin Patwary and Jatiya Narishakti Convener Monira Sharmin, alongside other central and Dhaka metropolitan leaders.
Presiding over the event, Ariful Islam Adib, senior joint convener of the NCP and convener of Dhaka North, said the party’s leaders and activists are ready to carry forward the struggle for implementing the “July Charter” and broader reforms.
The iftar ceremony was moderated by Sardar Amirul Islam Sagar, member secretary of the NCP’s Dhaka North unit.
