The National Consensus Commission (NCC) held a meeting on Monday to review the expert opinions received regarding the methods for implementing the “July National Charter 2025”, according to a press release.
The meeting took place in the conference room of the commission’s office located at the National Parliament Building.
During the meeting, the opinions and recommendations provided by the experts in last Sunday’s meeting were reviewed, the press release said, adding that, simultaneously, the opinions provided by the political parties on this matter were also analysed.
According to the release, the NCC has decided to formally discuss the issue with the political parties.
Present at the meeting were the Commission’s Vice-Chairperson Professor Ali Riaz, members Dr Badiul Alam Majumdar, Justice Md Emdadul Haque, Dr Iftekharuzzaman, Safar Raj Hossain, and Dr Md Ayub Mia.
Additionally, the Chief Adviser’s Special Assistant Monir Haider was also present during the meeting, the release went on to add.
