Bollywood actor Mrunal Thakur has once again found herself at the centre of romance speculation, with social media buzzing about alleged links to cricketer Shreyas Iyer and, previously, South star Dhanush. But rather than issue a denial, the actor has chosen humour to address the chatter.
Indian media reports suggest that online discussions, first sparked on Reddit, have fuelled claims that Mrunal may be dating Iyer, while earlier rumours paired her with Dhanush after the two were seen together at the ‘Son of Sardaar 2’ premiere. Fans also pointed to her friendly interactions with Dhanush and his family on social media.
Responding to the growing gossip, Mrunal posted a light-hearted video on Instagram, showing her mother giving her a head massage. Her caption read: “They say we’re laughing. PS: Rumours mean free PR, and I love free things!” Without naming anyone, the message made clear she was poking fun at the speculation.
Despite the attention, the actor appears focused on work. She was last seen in Son of Sardaar 2, alongside Ajay Devgn, Ravi Kishan and Sanjay Mishra. Mrunal will next appear in ‘Do Deewane Seher Mein’, due for release on February 20 next year.
