Marvel is bringing back one of its most intriguing characters after a four-year absence, as Moon Knight returns amid an already busy year for the superhero franchise. The comeback adds to Marvel’s packed slate of releases, even before its first theatrical film of 2026 reaches cinemas.
According to ScreenRant, Marvel has already delivered several Disney+ series this year, including Wonder Man, starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Daredevil: Born Again, led by Charlie Cox. Both series have secured new seasons, reflecting the studio’s continued focus on expanding its streaming universe.
Marvel’s big-screen return is only weeks away with Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the fourth solo outing for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. The film is expected to pave the way for the events of Avengers: Doomsday.
However, fans will not have to wait until Avengers: Doomsday arrives in cinemas on 18 December to see some of Marvel’s most powerful heroes face an Avengers-level, or even Omega-level, threat. Moon Knight’s return marks another major addition to Marvel’s expanding line-up and gives fans another reason to look forward to the franchise’s next chapter.
