WWE’s move to Netflix has paid off handsomely, with ‘Monday Night Raw’ emerging as one of the platform’s strongest non-scripted performers in its first year. New figures from Netflix highlight the scale of the pro wrestling brand’s global reach since bringing its flagship weekly show to the streaming service.

According to Netflix, subscribers watched more than 525 million hours of WWE content in 2025. Monday Night Raw accounted for a significant share of that total, drawing 340 million views worldwide. Premium live events available on Netflix outside the United States, including WrestleMania and the Royal Rumble, along with the weekly show SmackDown, generated a further 185 million views.

Since debuting on Netflix in January 2025, Raw has maintained a strong presence on the platform’s Global Top 10 English-language television chart. The programme appeared in the list for 47 of the 52 weeks it aired during the year and averaged more than three million viewers per week. Country-level data shows particularly strong performance in the US, Canada, the UK and Mexico, underlining WWE’s international appeal.

Netflix has also expanded its partnership with WWE by adding a large selection of archive content to its US catalogue, giving subscribers access to decades of wrestling programming alongside current shows.

Beyond viewership figures, WWE talent has become increasingly visible across Netflix’s wider promotional ecosystem. Wrestlers appeared at several high-profile company events throughout the year, including ‘Next on Netflix 2025’, ‘Netflix Tudum 2025: The Live Event’ and the platform’s 2025 ‘Upfront’ presentation. WWE also featured at the opening of ‘Netflix Bites’ in Las Vegas and the launch events for Netflix House in Philadelphia and Dallas.

Cross-promotional efforts extended to on-screen collaborations as well. A special ‘Stranger Things’ themed episode of Raw aired on January 5, shortly after the finale of the hit series, further signalling Netflix’s push to integrate WWE into its broader entertainment strategy.
