Bangladesh’s rock scene will revisit a memorable musical chapter when Warfaze and former lead guitarist Oni Hasan take the stage together at an upcoming concert in Dhaka.
Titled ‘Rock N Rhythm 5.0: No Limits in the Zone’, the event will take place on 23 October at Carnival Arena, Jamuna Future Park. Adventor Communications is organising the fifth edition of the concert series.
Oni will make a special appearance with Warfaze and perform a separate set featuring songs from outside his repertoire with the band, according to the organisers.
The line-up also includes Nagar Baul, led by James, and Ark, fronted by Hasan. Both bands played significant roles in shaping Bangladesh’s rock movement during the 1990s, and their music continues to attract listeners across generations.
Heavy metal band Aurthohin, rock group Shunno and guitarist AK Rahul will also perform at the concert, bringing together artists from different corners of the country’s rock and metal scene.
Launched in 2022, the Rock N Rhythm series has staged four editions so far. The second and third editions followed in 2023, while the fourth took place in 2024.
With its fifth edition, the organisers aim to expand the event and bring established performers together for a celebration of Bangladesh’s diverse rock music heritage.
