Midland Bank PLC (MDB) officially inaugurated its Saidpur sub-branch at Sahid Dr Zikrul Haque Plaza in Saidpur upazila of Nilphamari on December 11.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Md Ahsan-uz Zaman, managing director and CEO of Midland Bank, who was chief guest of the event.
He was joined by Mohd Javed Tarak Khan, head of institutional banking, Md Rashed Akter, head of retail distribution, and Abir Muntasir Islam, branch manager of the Saidpur sub-branch, among others.
The event also saw participation from a number of local businessmen, government and non-government officials, and journalists.
Expressing his gratitude, Md Ahsan-uz Zaman encouraged attendees to establish relationships with the bank by opening accounts.
He emphasised the bank’s commitment to providing top-notch service to customers and highlighted the benefits of using ‘Midland Online,’ the bank’s free internet banking application, which allows customers to access modern, secure banking services from anywhere, anytime.
The event was moderated by MD Rashadul Anwar, head of public relations of the Bank.
This new branch aims to enhance Midland Bank’s outreach and service capabilities in the region, making banking more accessible for the local community.
