The long-awaited UFC rematch between Conor McGregor and Max Holloway attracted an average of 6.5 million viewers on Paramount+ across the United States and Latin America, according to figures released by Paramount Skydance.
According to Deadline, the main card, which aired on 11 July, reached a peak of 8.3 million concurrent streams. Paramount Skydance said this made it the most-watched exclusive live event in the history of Paramount+, surpassed only by Super Bowl LVIII among all live events on the streaming platform.
The audience peak also exceeded that of the Freedom 250 event at the White House in June, which recorded around 7.9 million concurrent streams.
Overall, UFC 329 reached nearly 16 million viewers across the United States and Latin America. The figure represents the total number of users who watched the event for at least one minute during the broadcast. Of those viewers, 14.3 million came from the United States.
The headline bout marked a rematch more than 13 years in the making between former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor and former featherweight champion Max Holloway. Holloway secured victory by technical knockout just over a minute into the opening round after McGregor suffered a knee injury.
The card also featured a lightweight contenders’ clash between No. 5-ranked Benoît Saint Denis and No. 6-ranked Paddy Pimblett.
