The MBBS and BDS admission tests for the 2025-26 academic year will take place on Friday, with the exam being held simultaneously at 17 centers and 49 venues across the country, starting from 10am.
Candidates are required to enter the exam center between 8am and 9:30am, as per the Ministry of Health’s instructions. After this time, the entrance to the center will be closed.
Candidates must bring a colored admission card, a transparent black ink ballpoint pen, and their HSC/equivalent exam admission card or registration card to the exam hall. Bags are strictly prohibited, and entry with mobile phones, calculators, or any electronic devices, including watches, is not allowed.
This year’s admission test will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions, each worth 1 point. The subjects covered are: Biology (30 questions), Chemistry (25 questions), Physics (15 questions), English (15 questions), and General Knowledge, Trends, and Human Qualities (15 questions). The passing mark is 40, with a deduction of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
For the 2025-26 academic year, a total of 13,051 seats are available in government and private medical and dental colleges. Among these, there are 5,100 seats in government medical colleges, 545 in dental units, 6,001 seats in private medical colleges, and 1,405 seats in private dental colleges.
