Masud Jamil Khan, Honorary Consul of Ireland in Bangladesh, has been elected Treasurer of the Consular Corps in Bangladesh (CCB) for the 2026–2027 term.
He was elected at the organisation’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), held recently at the Lamda Hall of Gulshan Club in Dhaka, where members elected a new Executive Committee to lead the organisation for the coming year, according to a media release.
The Government of Ireland appointed Masud Jamil Khan, deputy managing director of Cosmos Group, as its honorary consul with jurisdiction for Bangladesh in December 2023.
He also serves as a director of United News of Bangladesh (UNB), the country’s largest private news agency, and Dhaka Courier, an independent news magazine.
