Lock Upp: Sach Ya Saza has climbed to the top of Netflix’s foreign-language series chart in Bangladesh, according to Monday’s Netflix Tudum rankings.
The second season returned after a four-year break and now streams on Netflix. Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh host the show, with contestants including Ram Kapoor, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Harshad Chopda, Shivangi Joshi, Shreya Kalra, Yogesh Rawat and Akanksha Chaudhary. New episodes premiere from Saturday to Wednesday at 8pm.
The reality show remains one of India’s most controversial programmes. Contestants must either reveal deeply personal secrets or face punishment, with confessions ranging from relationships and mental health to abuse and past controversies.
Originally launched in 2022 by producer Ekta Kapoor, Lock Upp introduced its unique “chargesheet” concept, presenting contestants as “prisoners” linked to real-life controversies.
The new season has already sparked fresh debate. Kangana Ranaut, now appearing in special segments as the “voice of the public”, questioned Ram Kapoor over past remarks, while Akanksha Chamola’s candid confession about a previous relationship also drew widespread attention online.
With its blend of controversy and reality television, Lock Upp has become one of the most talked-about OTT shows in Bangladesh.
