The dead body of lawyer was found in his rented accommodation in Manikganj.
Manikganj Sadar police have recovered the hanging body of Manikganj District Judge Court lawyer Shahidul Islam from Char Beutha area late Wednesday night.
Initial reports suggest the 36-year-old may have taken his own life following a family dispute.
The body was discovered at around 12:10am in the residence of Md Rafiqul Islam.
Shahidul Islam, a native of Jamuna Badda area in Shimulia Union, Shibaloy Upazila, was practising at the Manikganj District Judge Court.
Officer-in-Charge of Manikganj Sadar Police, Md Ikram Hossain, confirmed the recovery and said the body had been sent for post-mortem examination.
He added that the matter is under investigation and appropriate legal measures are being taken.
