Renowned British-American publishing house HarperCollins is set to release Carnivore, a new novel by Kazi Anis Ahmed. The novel explores the story of a Bangladeshi chef in New York who chooses an unusual path to earn a living — a path that also leads to an unprecedented incident.
According to HarperCollins, the 320-page novel Carnivore will be published on June 30. The book is currently available for pre-order on Amazon. The publisher also stated that beyond Amazon, the book will be available in both print and digital editions across the UK, Ireland, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia. In addition, the novel is scheduled to be published in the United States and North America in March next year. The Indian paperback edition will also be available in Dhaka through Bookworm and other bookstores, priced at Tk800.

Author Kazi Anis Ahmed grew up in Dhaka and completed his PhD in the United States. He has previously published a short story collection, a novella, and a novel. His op-eds have appeared in various national and international publications, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian/Observer, and The Financial Times.
