Bogura is set to host a glittering tribute to the country’s musical heritage as the 20th TMSS Channel i Music Awards rolls out on April 7. Among the evening’s highlights, celebrated singers Kanak Chapa and Kangalini Sufia will be specially recognised, with Kanak Chapa receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award and Sufia honoured with a Special Recognition.
The ceremony will be hosted at Momo Inn Park & Resort, promising a vibrant showcase of Bangladesh’s diverse musical landscape.
Alongside these special accolades, awards will be handed out across 18 categories, celebrating artistic excellence in every corner of the industry.
Cultural stalwarts and media figures are expected to grace the event, including Faridur Reza Sagar, Managing Director of Impress Telefilm Ltd. and Channel i, Shykh Seraj, Director and Head of News at Channel i and Hosne Ara Begum, Founder and Executive Director of TMSS.
The evening features a musical gala with performances from a blend of legendary voices and contemporary stars; Runa Laila, Sabina Yasmin, Afzal Hossain, Khurshid Alam, Rafiqul Alam, Kona, Zhilik, Imran Mahmudul, Liza, and Luipa among those slated to appear.
