Dhallywood actor Farhan Ahmed Jovan has shared four personal observations about life, success and criticism in a recent Facebook post.
The actor, who regularly shares his thoughts and experiences with fans on social media, began the post by saying, “It took me 33 years to understand these things.”
Jovan then outlined four lessons he has learned. According to him, if no one considers you an enemy, perhaps you have not yet achieved something significant in life.
Similarly, if no one talks about you behind your back, it may mean you have not yet become important to them.
He also suggested that when someone tries to bring another person down, it could indicate that the latter has already reached a higher position.
“Hatred always comes from below, never from above,” Jovan wrote.
The actor also reflected on criticism and doubt.
He suggested that when people question or criticise someone, it can sometimes be a sign that the person is doing something noteworthy.
In that sense, criticism can become a hidden form of praise.
Jovan ended his post on a lighter note, writing, “Your haters are actually your biggest fans.
Love them, otherwise they wouldn’t waste so much time writing such long posts about you.”
Through the post, Jovan presented negativity, criticism and opposition as experiences that can be viewed from a more positive perspective, drawing on what he described as lessons gathered over 33 years of life.
