The holy month of Ramadan is underway. Marking the occasion, the successful lyricist-vocalist duo Robiul Islam Jibon and Imran Mahmudul have released a new Islamic song titled “Ya Rasul Allah.” The track premiered on 24 February on Imran’s YouTube channel.
With lines like, “I will go, I will go to Madinah; with raised hands I will offer prayers at the Prophet’s Rawza,” Jibon captures the heartfelt longing of Muslims. Imran has composed and arranged the music in an Arabic style. The song also features vocals by Tanzila Mim, while the music video was directed by Saikat Reza.
Speaking about the song, Jibon said, “Prophet Muhammad is the heartbeat of Muslims. Everyone carries the wish to visit the Prophet’s Rawza. This song was written from that very longing. We wanted to present it to the audience during Ramadan. I believe listeners will feel a unique sense of peace in its lyrics and melody.”
The National Film Award–winning lyricist and singer has previously released three Islamic songs: ‘Koro Ibadat,’ ‘Allah Meherban,’ and ‘Ajaner Oi Pabitra Sur,’ all of which are available online. Altogether, this duo has produced over 100 songs, many of them widely popular among listeners.
