Junior Chamber International (JCI) Dhaka West successfully organized the seventh edition of its signature art competition, “Battle of the Brush 7.0,” with the aim of nurturing a more active, innovative and socially conscious young generation.
The event took place at the Marriott Convention Center, Dhanmondi, bringing together more than 300 children and teenagers including specially-abled and underprivileged participants from over 50 schools across the capital. The platform encouraged young artists to express creativity, confidence and imagination through art.
Renowned educationist and Founder, Chairman & CEO of Bishwo Shahitto Kendro, Professor Abdullah Abu Sayeed, attended the event as the Chief Guest. Kazi Fahad, 2025 National President of JCI Bangladesh was present as the Special Guest.
The panel of judges included Biswajit Goswami, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Fine Arts, Dhaka University and Md. Ehsan-ur-Roshid, Founder of Charputhi, who evaluated the artworks submitted across various categories.
Members of the JCI Bangladesh 2025 National Board were present at the event. Also attending were JCI Dhaka West 2017 Local President Ziaul Hoque Bhuiyan, 2022 Local President Md Altamis Nabil, 2023 Local President Mahmudur Rahman and 2024 Local President S M Belal.
This year’s organizing team was led by JCI Dhaka West 2025 Local President Sujaur Rahman Emon, who served as Event Advisor. Subah Afrin acted as Event Director, with Md. Saddam Hossain as Event Convener. The Co-Conveners were Md. Tanvir Hasan, Ibrahim Khalil Foysal, Md. Sameen Rahman, Audrika Eshna Purbasha and Masud, while Reyel Ahmad served as Creative & Visual Lead.

In Bangladesh, JCI currently has more than 40 local chapters, among which JCI Dhaka West is one of the largest and oldest.
