Bangladesh recorded 730 new dengue hospitalisations and two deaths in the past 24 hours, health officials said on Saturday.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), 17 patients were hospitalised in Barishal division, 89 in Chattogram, 66 in Dhaka division, 137 in Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), 171 in Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), 123 in Khulna, 27 in Mymensingh and 10 in Rangpur.
With the latest figures, the country has recorded 23,173 dengue cases and 67 deaths so far this year.
Last year, dengue claimed 413 lives and infected 1,02,861 people across the country.
