Janata Capital and Investment Limited (JCIL), a subsidiary of Janata Bank PLC, reported total operating income of Tk13 crore for the year ended 31 December 2025, as shareholders gathered for the company’s 16th Annual General Meeting in the capital.
The AGM was held on Wednesday at the company’s head office at 48 Motijheel Commercial Area, Dhaka. Md Mazibur Rahman, Chairman of the Board of Directors of JCIL and Managing Director of Janata Bank PLC, presided over the meeting, said in a press release.
Chief Executive Md Abdus Subhan Miah informed shareholders that the company earned total operating income of Tk 13.04 crore during 2025.
All directors and shareholders of Janata Capital and Investment Limited attended the meeting. Deputy Managing Directors of the holding company were also present alongside senior officials of JCIL.
Among those attending were Chief Executive Md Abdus Subhan Miah, Company Secretary Abdullah Al-Amin and other executives and officers of Janata Capital and Investment Limited. Media representatives and invited guests were also present at the annual meeting.
Janata Capital and Investment Limited operates as a subsidiary of state-owned Janata Bank PLC and provides capital market and investment-related services.
The AGM reviewed the company’s performance for the year ended 31 December 2025 and brought together shareholders, directors and senior management to discuss the company’s activities and financial results.
